The Background Matters!....If you can help it! Keep it in mind.

CHOOSE BACKGROUNDS WISELY IF POSSIBLE
Your "Getting Ready" Photos-
Pictured: Getting Ready in a dark living room with old curtains..... VS.......

OR.....Getting ready in a brighter, more attractive area.......If possible, consider those factors.
Wedding Colours and Flowers
The colours you choose for your wedding flowers and bridesmaid dresses will have a powerful impact on your wedding as well as your photographs.
A simple dress can be transformed into a memorable and unique gown simply by choosing distinctive flower colours in just the right shade.
Flowers that speak colour not only inspire colour, but they add definition, and invoke emotion.
If you like artsy photographs like the one displayed, keep in mind that ivory or white flowers will not give that effect.
Wedding Cake On Display
The wedding cake table
Be sure to proudly display your gorgeous wedding cake.
To make your cake look taller: Underneath the table cloth set down a firm box to act as a boost lift for the cake, this will make your cake appear taller and more magical.
Pick a well lit area.
Make sure the table is set up with enough room for you to stand behind the table when you cut it so while capturing those cake cutting photos the photographer can capture you with the cake in the photos as well, and not with your back to the cake because you couldn't fit behind the table.
Traditionally on the wedding cake table is an engraved knife, cake server and layers of tulle or fabric and/or flowers around the wedding cake without smothering it.
